​​​​​​​• supervising of day-to-day operations of all municipal departments and staff, directly and through department heads
​​​​​​​• advising to the City Council on legal and state-government operations
​​​​​​​• attending all city council and city assembly meetings, though not having voting rights
​​​​​​​• co-operating on project management tasks of the municipality as the supervisor of internal projects
​​​​​​​• employer to all municipal employees
​​​​​​​• i.e. staff hiring, firing, disciplining and suspensions; setting the salary of all municipality employees
